Just a one-minute little radio blurb ...

BD is right; lotsa stuff on that GDAO site. Not great organization yet, actually. (The Milestones is kind of a mess. It makes it look as if Phil joined the Warlocks in '64.) But a good start.

Btw if you ever sent an artistic envelope, you can google your name or other things, like your city, and see if it pops up ...

Ha - awesome! Luckily the Coliseum was a fortress, so gate crashers were pretty rare in Richfield.

The "Silver Buzzard" -- it was WMMS's 25th anniversary.

Oh, the hours I`ve spent inside the Coliseum,
Dodging lions and wastin` time.
Oh, those mighty kings of the jungle, I could hardly stand to see `em,
Yes, it sure has been a long, hard climb.

Of course it has its own Wikipedia page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WMMS

>A study conducted by MBA students at Case Western Reserve University in 1975 found that the new WMMS logo was more recognizable to those living in Greater Cleveland than both Chief Wahoo of the Cleveland Indians and even Coca-Cola.[41]
